GO NEWT, part 2

from this weekend, maybe you would understand it better when we get attacked.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R) on Monday compared President Obama to former President Jimmy Carter for friendly gestures toward Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

Gingrich said on “Fox & Friends”: “Frankly, this does look a lot like Jimmy Carter. Carter tried weakness, and the world got tougher and tougher, because the predators, the aggressors, the anti-Americans, the dictators – when they sense weakness, they all start pushing ahead.

“And the reports out of Pakistan are very alarming about the degree to which the Islamists are gaining ground. And the people who favor a modern civilization are losing ground in that very important country.”
